Is Kitzio really free?
Yes. The Free plan lets you create a storefront, sell up to 3 PDF products, and add 1 Kitzio Money Kit — with no monthly subscription. A 5% Kitzio platform fee applies per sale (plus standard payment processing fees).
What is the Kitzio platform fee?
On the Free plan, Kitzio charges a 5% platform fee on each successful sale. This is separate from Stripe's payment processing fees. Pro and Elite plans have 0% Kitzio platform fees — you keep 100% of your sales.
When should I upgrade to Pro?
When you want to sell more than 3 products, offer courses or bookings, use email marketing, access AI tools, or eliminate the 5% platform fee. Pro is $29/month with a 30-day free trial.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You can start on the Free plan with no credit card, or start a 30-day Pro trial with no credit card. You only pay when you choose to subscribe to Pro or Elite.
What happens if I downgrade from Pro to Free?
Your store, products, courses, bookings, and all data remain intact — nothing is deleted. Features not available on Free become restricted, but you keep all your content. You can upgrade anytime to restore full access.
What happens when my Pro trial expires?
You move to the Free plan. Your data is preserved. Free plan limits apply (3 PDF products, 1 Money Kit, 5% platform fee). Upgrade to Pro or Elite anytime to restore full access.
What's the difference between Pro and Elite?
